[EDA] 真有大GDSII viewer的需求嗎?

真有大GDSII viewer的需求嗎?
其實如果處理的GDSII<200GB的話
目前是可以拼的出來這樣的PC
Supermicro SuperServer 8045C-3RB:  $1,799
Intel® Xeon® Processor E7450:  $2301*4
16GB 667MHz DDR2 ECC Fully Buffered CL5 DIMM (Kit of 2): $1500*12
Total:  $29004
換句話說只要準備100萬新台幣左右
就可以有一台24核心,192GB RAM的頂級 pc
處理200GB的GDSII file應該是遊刃有餘
除非有處理超過200GB的GDSII的需求
否則買新的硬體是比買新的軟體有價值的多…
